My family has come to Big Bear every February to celebrate my birthday for many, many years.Each time I insist we dine at the Captains Anchorage for my favorite decadent steak, the Anchors Aweigh.
Charbroiled filet mignon stuffed with fresh Dungeness Crab, topped with
grilled artichoke hearts and a fresh tomato—smothered in Bearnaise sauce.
Need I say more?
I also love the Clam Chowder & the old school pickled beets on the salad bar.
Ok, I find myself wishing it was February already….
